This active RPM sensor is a small sensor that is mounted on the ignition cable between the ignition coil and the spark plug. The sensor is attached with strips.

This active RPM sensor is made of nothing less 21 components mounted on both sides of a small PCB on the tube. This active sensor is feeding the Laptimer with a clean stream of ignition pulses. Combined with the advanced digital filtering in the Laptimer, it plays an important role in giving the best RPM measurement on the market.

The sensor can be used of both normal and "weak" ignition systems!

Made with high quality cable and connector the RPM sensor is moulded to prevent moisture to get into the electronics.
The cable is clearly marked to ease identification and connected to the RPM connector on the Laptimer.
