This receiver is used when it is not possible to use a Loop or Magnet receiver. Some tracks are turning off the active AMB loop during practice and if no magnet stripes are available, the IR receiver is the only solution.
This new IR receiver is made for the new "black" Laptimer series. It is extremly compact, runs on low voltage and uses very low power.
Made with high quality cable and connector the IR receiver is moulded to prevent moisture to get into the electronics.
The cable is clearly marked to ease identification and connected to the RECV 1 connector on the Laptimer. |
